What is Neerbee?
Neerbee is a local mutual aid app where Bees publish vibees: ephemeral geolocated announcements for requests (help, services, items, advice…) or offers. Vibees are ephemeral, geolocated, and display around you on an interactive map. Neerbee connects Bees in a spirit of solidarity and local mutual aid.
Is the app free?
Yes, registration and general public use are completely free. You can create an account, publish solidarity vibees, and use all basic features at no cost. Additional benefits are available for Bees with confirmed phone numbers, but the essentials remain free.
Can I post multiple vibees?
It depends on your level:
- Bee: 1 active vibee maximum, 1-day duration (default free level)
- Confirmed Bees: up to 5 active vibees simultaneously, with longer durations.

Are there payments in the app?
No, Neerbee does not handle payments. Neerbee simply connects Bees. Payment is made directly between individuals or not, according to your agreement (service exchange, donation, cost sharing, etc.). Neerbee takes no commission on transactions.
How is geolocation used?
Geolocation is used only for:
- Displaying vibees near you (local calculation, not stored)
- Positioning your vibee when publishing it
We do not track your position in real time. Only the location of the published vibee is kept while it is active. You can withdraw your consent to geolocation at any time in the app settings.
How do I report a problem?
Use BeeSignals in the app to report:
- Inappropriate behavior (harassment, discrimination)
- Scams or fraud
- Suspicious vibee (prohibited content, false information)
Moderation responds quickly (within 48 hours maximum). For more information, see our

How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account in two ways:
Deletion is permanent and results in the deletion of all your personal data in accordance with GDPR.
Is it secure?
Yes, Neerbee is secure. Data is stored via a secure storage service (GDPR compliant) with:
- Data protection during transmission (secure connection)
- Protection of stored sensitive data
- Secure authentication
- Data protection at the database level (each Bee can only access their own data)
- Recording of important actions to ensure traceability

What is an ephemeral vibee?
A vibee expresses the intention of a message located on the map. It does not describe a profession, service, or status,
but a need or information of the moment (for example: furniture to assemble, a lost cat, a lawn mower to borrow).
Vibees expire automatically after a set duration to keep information fresh.
Three main intentions:
- Info: inform / report a local situation
- Mutual aid: request or offer a helping hand
- Collective: mobilize several people around an action
Context (« what it's about ») is found via
keyword search (title and description). A vibee answers « Why am I publishing » (intent).
How do Bee and Confirmed Bees levels work?
Levels determine your vibee publication limits:
- Bee: default free level, 1 active vibee maximum, 1-day duration.
- Confirmed Bees: automatically verified level (free) with up to 5 active vibees simultaneously
and possible durations up to 15 days (1d, 7d, 15d), as well as extended map access (GPS + profile + choice on map).
The Bee level is automatic upon registration. Moving to Confirmed Bees is linked to confirming your phone number
by SMS, valid for 12 rolling months, then renewable in a few steps from the app.
Can I use Neerbee without an account?
No, an account is required to use Neerbee. This ensures the security, traceability, and moderation of the platform. Registration is free and quick (email or phone + password).
Is Neerbee available outside France?
Currently, Neerbee is primarily oriented toward the French market (GDPR compliance, ESS regulation). The app can technically work elsewhere, but features and support are optimized for France. International extensions are planned for the future.
How does pre-registration work?
If the app is not yet available, you can pre-register on our site to be notified of its release:
- You provide your email with your explicit consent (mandatory checkbox)
- You receive a confirmation email to validate
- You will receive one email only when the app is available
- You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in the email or on our unsubscribe page
