Two simple steps to act locally
Bee of the community
I join the neerbee community and become a Bee. I can create Vibees, offer my help on existing Vibees via comments, and respond to my neighborhood's needs.
Local need
I need help! Can someone help me? I publish a geolocated Vibee to express my need. A Vibee is your need of the moment (a piece of furniture to assemble, a lost cat, a lawnmower to borrow). You publish it, Bees around see it on the map, they respond. Simple as a wingbeat 🐝
Neighborhood stories
Discover how Neerbee creates connections in neighborhoods through real stories. Generations naturally crossing paths, around local life.
"I needed help assembling furniture. In 2 hours, 3 Bees offered their help. We ended up creating a mutual aid group in the neighborhood!"
Sophie, 32, had a sofa to assemble. She published a Mutual Aid in the morning. In the afternoon, 3 Bees were there to help her. Since then, they help each other regularly.
"My cat had been missing for 3 days. Thanks to the Collective, the whole neighborhood mobilized. We found him the next day!"
Marie created a Collective to mobilize the neighborhood. In 24h, more than 20 people had shared the info and searched. The cat was in a garden two streets away.
"We organized a neighborhood cleanup via a Collective. 15 Bees mobilized. The neighborhood has never been so clean!"
One Saturday morning, a group of Bees created a Collective for a waste collection. Result: 15 participants, 8 bags filled, and a transformed neighborhood.
"A tree had fallen on the road. I created an Alert. In 10 minutes, the whole neighborhood was informed and the town hall alerted."
After a storm, someone published an Alert to alert about a fallen tree. The town hall was contacted quickly and the tree removed before an accident happened.
"I needed a lawnmower for once. Instead of buying one, I found someone who lent it to me. Savings and social connection!"
A simple Mutual Aid to borrow a lawnmower created a neighborhood friendship. Now they regularly exchange tools and services.
"I needed help understanding an administrative letter. A retired person helped me, and since then we exchange regularly: he teaches me DIY, I help him with his smartphone."
A simple Mutual Aid created an intergenerational friendship. Now they help each other regularly, without ever talking about age. Generations naturally cross paths around local life.
A vibee expresses the intention of a message located on the map. It does not describe a job, a service, or a status. There are three intentions: Info (inform / report), Mutual Aid (ask for or offer help), Collective (mobilize several people). Accessible to all Bees aged 16 and over. Context (« what it's about ») is found via keyword search (title and description). A vibee answers « Why I publish » (intention).
Daily mutual aid
Daily need or offer : helping hand, tool lending, quick services, pet care, local recommendations.
Knowledge sharing and local memory : generations naturally cross paths around daily mutual aid.
Collective actions
Mobilization and collective actions : neighborhood cleanup, collective search, solidarity collection, neighborhood activities, citizen mobilization.
Shared moments between generations : coffee, walk, gardening, games. The neighborhood gathers around common actions.
Inform / report (default)
Share local information : report, factual information, message without direct expectation of human action.
Contextual communication : roadworks, outage, local event, neighborhood information. Institutions also use this intention for their official messages.
Tools for communities
Neerbee offers tools for local authorities (town halls, communities of communes) and partner associations. The Beekeeper feature allows broadcasting official safety and vigilance alerts to Bees in your area.
Publish official alerts from your administrative center. Messages are broadcast within a customizable radius (up to 50 km). Ethical innovation: precise geolocation, no permanent tracking.
Verified Bees within the radius automatically receive a push notification for critical alerts. Prioritization by distance and activity. Ethical limit: 500 notifications max per message.
Neerbee is 100% free for individuals. For communities and partner associations, subscriptions are available to access the Beekeeper feature and local coordination tools. Discover our offer for communities.
Neerbee is not a disaster app, but a trusted local coordination infrastructure, for daily use as well as in exceptional situations. Daily use remains the majority (mutual aid, services, Vibees); the Beekeeper feature is a complementary tool for institutions, not the core of the app.
