Need help? People around you can help.

Publish your request, people nearby see it, they respond. Simple as that.

Neerbee connects people nearby via Vibees: geotagged messages that alert the neighborhood. You need a helping hand? You publish, people around see your request on the map, they respond. Without intermediary, without commission, without a system that chooses what you should see.

Neerbee is not a social network. It's a tool to see what's happening near you and act locally.

  • Interactive map : see requests and offers around you in real time
  • Direct contact : exchange directly with the people concerned, without intermediary
  • Ephemeral messages : Vibees expire automatically to keep info fresh
  • Transparent and simple : no system that chooses for you, you see what's really happening near you, in order of proximity

Neerbee: Need help? People around you can help. How Neerbee works in 3 steps: a need appears, people around see it, comments are exchanged and solidarity begins.

How does neerbee work?

Two simple steps to act locally

1 🐝

I am a bee

Local member

Je rejoins la communauté neerbee et je deviens membre actif. Je peux créer des Vibees, proposer mon aide sur les Vibees existants via les commentaires, et répondre aux besoins de mon quartier.

2 💬

A vibee

Local need

Neighborhood stories

People helping each other locally

Discover how Neerbee creates connections in neighborhoods through real stories. Generations naturally crossing paths, around local life.

Sophie and the move

"I needed help assembling furniture. In 2 hours, 3 people offered their help. We ended up creating a mutual aid group in the neighborhood!"

Sophie, 32, had a sofa to assemble. She published a Mutual Aid in the morning. In the afternoon, 3 people were there to help her. Since then, they help each other regularly.

Marie's cat found

"My cat had been missing for 3 days. Thanks to the Collective, the whole neighborhood mobilized. We found him the next day!"

Marie created a Collective to mobilize the neighborhood. In 24h, more than 20 people had shared the info and searched. The cat was in a garden two streets away.

The collective cleanup

"We organized a neighborhood cleanup via a Collective. 15 people mobilized. The neighborhood has never been so clean!"

One Saturday morning, a group of people created a Collective for a waste collection. Result: 15 participants, 8 bags filled, and a transformed neighborhood.

The alert that prevented an accident

"A tree had fallen on the road. I created an Alert. In 10 minutes, the whole neighborhood was informed and the town hall alerted."

After a storm, someone published an Alert to alert about a fallen tree. The town hall was contacted quickly and the tree removed before an accident happened.

The lawnmower loan

"I needed a lawnmower for once. Instead of buying one, I found someone who lent it to me. Savings and social connection!"

A simple Mutual Aid to borrow a lawnmower created a neighborhood friendship. Now they regularly exchange tools and services.

Knowledge transmission

"I needed help understanding an administrative letter. A retired person helped me, and since then we exchange regularly: he teaches me DIY, I help him with his smartphone."

A simple Mutual Aid created an intergenerational friendship. Now they help each other regularly, without ever talking about age. Generations naturally cross paths around local life.

The Vibees

Three types of Vibees to create connections in your neighborhood. A Vibee is your need of the moment (a piece of furniture to assemble, a lost cat, a lawnmower to borrow). You publish it, people around see it on the map, they respond. Simple as a wingbeat 🐝 Accessible to all, regardless of age.

Shared moments between generations : coffee, walk, gardening, games. The neighborhood gathers around common actions.

Neighborhood security : a vigilance network where everyone can alert and be alerted for everyone's security.

Examples
Vigilance alert Found object Lost person Road safety Weather alert
💬 How does it work? People share information via comments to quickly alert the whole neighborhood.

Tools for communities

🛡️ Local Resilience Mode: activatable in exceptional situations

Neerbee is a local coordination tool usable daily as well as in exceptional situations. Local Resilience Mode allows coordinating mutual aid during local events requiring rapid mobilization.

🌊

Activation by the community

Local Resilience Mode can be activated by the community, a local referent or in partnership with a town hall or association. Defined geographic zone, limited duration (e.g.: 72h, 7 days).

🤝

Agile local coordination

Specific Vibees for material aid, temporary housing, cleanup, transport, local skills. Temporary "Mobilized" badge for active participants.

🏛️

Territorial partnerships

Neerbee offers subscriptions for communities (town halls, communities of communes) and associations, allowing access to Local Resilience Mode and local coordination tools.

Neerbee is not a disaster app, but a trusted local coordination infrastructure, activatable daily as well as in exceptional situations. Daily use remains the majority (mutual aid, services, Vibees), resilience becomes a mode or enhanced usage, not the core.
